As of 27.04.2003 there were more than 4600 people infected around the globe, and more than 260 died.
According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the following are the symptoms of the disease: fever grater than 38C (100F), headache, an overall feeling of discomfort, body aches, mild respiratory symptoms. After 2 to 7 days, SARS patients may develop a dry cough and have trouble breathing.

Currently all over the world scientists try to create effective diagnostic tools, as well as vaccines and antiviral curing for this disease.
